CDC-EIS has confirmed a room block at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis for attendees for the CDC-EIS Annual Conference.  The room block is filling fast.  When booking, there may be certain nights that have reached capacity and are no longer available.  If the desired room nights are not available through the link below you will need to book directly with the hotel or at an alternate location.

The hotel rate is valid until the room block is sold out or until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, 2024.

eventPower is the Official Housing Provider for the 2024 the CDC-EIS Annual Conference. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company or housing provider other than eventPower is not approved. Unaffiliated organizations may appear to offer reservations at lower rates, but they may be illegitimate, not have the rooms to sell, have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to your organization or eventPower.
 

Cost and Housing Rate Deadline

Hotel rooms have been secured at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis for the special conference rate of USD $173 per day (prevailing GSA per diem), plus applicable taxes. The hotel rate is valid until the room block is sold out or until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Steps to Reserve your Hotel Room 

Step 1: Book the Hotel Room

If you have not already done so, complete your conference registration. Conference Attendees can access the booking link in the CDC-EIS Registration Confirmation email to make or edit their hotel reservation.

Please Note: Incoming EIS Officers & LLS Fellows will have their hotel room booked for them. For more information, contact EISapplication@cdc.gov.

If you are planning on attending the conference and have not secured a hotel reservation, click here or search for other hotel availability via our trusted partner aRes Travel.

aRes Travel is a third-party travel planner. Rates, deposits, and cancellation policies may vary and are the responsibility of the guest. Questions on hotel policies or payments made on aRes website should be directed to the aRes Reservation Center or to the hotel directly.
 

Step 2: Confirmation

The hotel confirmation email will be sent to the email address that was provided during the hotel booking process. Please check your spam folder in case a confirmation email was not received. An attendee can access their confirmation number inside their 2024 CDC-EIS Conference Portal (as long as they made the reservation through the hotel booking link accessed through the application process or the portal).

Note: If you need to make any changes to a confirmed hotel room, please use the "Manage Hotel Reservation" link inside your attendee registration portal.

Visitor Parking is located on C Level at the Peachtree Center Avenue entrance. Visitors may gain access to the Garage by taking a ticket from the ticket spitter machine and pulling straight into the garage where 34 spaces are reserved for office visitors. Visitor Parking is limited to two hours. Regular parking rates apply to anyone using the Visitor Parking spaces. Visitors may also park in any non-reserved parking space in this 10-level parking facility.
