About the CDC EIS Conference

Free and open to the public, the annual CDC EIS conference is the nation’s flagship applied epidemiology conference. Over the course of the event, EIS officers share their work in leading-edge public health investigations, novel scientific findings, and innovative strategies to inform public health decision-making and protecting health—all while gaining valuable presentation experience.

This conference sparks interest from epidemiology and lab science sleuths, public health organizations, EIS alumni, news media, and prospective fellowship applicants, among others.
